Are you ready to become a member of Scarborough Buy Local? Please fill out the form below and we will use this for your application. If approved by the board, we will email you an invoice for annual dues. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Business Member: $60
Non-Profit Members: $30
Friend of Scarborough Buy Local: $80
Individual Member: $35

Type of Membership Requested
To qualify, the business must be locally owned, independent and be able to answer yes to all the following questions:
Is this business privately held?

Is the business located in Scarborough, Maine?
- Yes
- No
Is the business registered in Maine with the corporate headquarters in Maine?
- Yes
- No
Do the owner(s) have full decision-making authority over the business; including but not limited to decisions regarding product purchasing, pricing, marketing, wages, commissions and/or bonuses?
- Yes
- No
Does the business have a maximum of 12 outlets with over 50% in Maine?
- Yes
- No
Can the owner(s) operate the business independent of any franchise, branding, business name, or other outside corporate requirements?
- Yes

To qualify, the non-profit must be able to answer yes to all the following questions:
Are you registered/operating in Scarborough with a valid 501(c)(3) or fiscal sponsor?

Does the Board of Directors have full decision-making authority?

Individual members would have the some of the same benefits as a Friend of Scarborough Buy Local but not entitled to the same benefits as business or non-profit members but they can be a Friend of Scarborough Buy Local and support our movement

Businesses that do not meet the above independent membership requirements but whose owners and/or management are otherwise from Scarborough or surrounding community and support the Buy Local movement may be granted Friends of Scarborough Buy Local membership status.
